| Ambros Schmelzer founds a small workshop in the cellar of a rented apartment

1927
| Moves to his first plumbing workshop

1951
| With the first serial production of pipes for agricultural pneumatic conveyors the second company area comes into being – pipeline construction
|
1958
| Alfred Schmelzer, the son of the company founder, takes over the management
|
1962
| New building of a production hall on the present company premises
|
1967
| Owing to the high demand for "Schmelzer" pipes the company is extended by another production hall and warehouse
|
1968
| Schmelzer exports to European neighboring countries. Connections to foreign countries are developed and are further consolidated thanks to reliable, punctual deliveries

1977
| Extension of new production halls and warehouses

1981
| Founding of the "Tool and Mould Making". A new company branch comes into being and establishes itself on the market within a short time

1987
| The new production hall for tool and mould making is ready for production. Qualified personnel manufacture technical injection mould dies, punches and bending tools as well as follow-on composite tools with the latest generation of high technical machines

1988
| 75 years after the founding of the company, Schmelzer delivers his quality pipes to numerous European countries and is a recognized supplier of precision tools and injection moulds for the most varied sectors of heavy industry

1992
| 80 years after the founding of the company the first foreign production in Chodova Plana (Czech Republic) starts production. Favorable wage costs help to consolidate Schmelzer's position on the market
|
1999
| The production in Chodova Plana is extended by a hall with 1450 square meters for the white production. Over 150 employees work on 4650 square meters in the meantime.
